Arena Americas Helps Install One Of The Largest From Scratch COVID-19 Care Facilities
In the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020, Arena Americas leveraged its collective knowledge and disaster relief experience to help install one of the largest COVID-19 care facilities in the United States under the direction of the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) acting as the General Contractor in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In a whirlwind turnaround time, Arena Americas deployed a team of more than 100 professionals to deliver 250,000 square feet in structures on the campus of Stony Brook University in New York, working in continual shifts over a 10-day period.
In the end, five tents comprised of a variety of sizes of Amerispan Tents structures were installed by Arena Americas that could accommodate 1,038 beds for COVID-19 patients. The two largest tents included the PPF donning and doffing areas, added filtration and other technical needs. The three remaining tents housed beds for general emergency care.

This was an impressive buildout for us. We have worked on disaster relief projects before but this was a whole new ballgame.
